Help is on the way for students to stamp out bullying by using a cellphone. Blackboard Incorporated is offering a program called, “Tip Text” to every public and private K–12 in the U.S. And the best part – it’s FREE.
Here’s how it works: Students who are bullied or witness bullying can send a text message to a special number, to report the incident. Someone from the school can respond immediately to quash the situation.
The program also aids schools in documenting incidents of bullying.
