HOUSTON: Guns, knives, bottles and baseball bats, weapons commonly used in assaults and homicides. Add to the list, killer shoes. Houston police say a 44-year-old woman stabbed her 59-year-old boyfriend to death with a stiletto heeled shoe during an argument. Ana Trujillo was arrested and charged with murder when police found her boyfriend, Alf Stefan Andersson, lying on the floor inside his luxury condominium. Andersson, a University of Houston professor, had suffered multiple stab wounds: 10 puncture wounds to the head and 15 to 20 wounds to his face, arms and neck.
Trujillo admits to shoe stabbing but claims self defense. Says one acquaintance who knows her, “She’s a force to be reckoned with. I don’t think she’s the victim in this case.” If this is indeed true, Trujillo will be leaving her swanky stilettos on the outside of a jail cell.
In other shoe news, a 33-year-old woman in northern England was charged with stabbing a man through the eye with a stiletto heel. The couple reportedly argued in cab when the woman unleashed her shoe and stabbed the man in the eye.
